Intense alcoholic liquor prepared with herbal extracts, being the main one, wormwood. This is a green drink with a typical taste to enhance the Thujone content. Thujone is a chemical compound. It is a colorless liquid with a characteristic menthol smell; it is found in two groups of isomers in which atoms are linked in the same order, but differ in their spatial arrangement; it boils at 201oC; it is not soluble in water, but is easily soluble in ethanol or diethyl ether. It is found in certain plants, such as sage, arborvitae, some junipers, etc. Manufactured in accordance to the original French recipe with 70% alcohol.
