Mr. Marcus narrates the intro to the video and also serves as Steffan's co-star, who she performs her legendary oral skills on. Marcus remembers the video model's attributes quite well.
"The thing that stood about her was that she gave incredible head," he told AVN.com. "She created something off that one act that people are still talking about today."
The memoir describes a number of encounters in which she traded oral sex for access to prominent roles in rap music videos. Her encounters with rap stars led to her having been given the nickname Superhead. She starred in a porn film with porn star Mr. Marcus in which she was credited as "Honey". The porn scene showed why she got the moniker of "Superhead", as she is seen on the film performing a very rapid form of oral sex to Mr. Marcus.
Karrine Steffans (August 24, 1978) is a former hip hop music video performer and actress. She is the author of Confessions of a Video Vixen , her 2005 memoir about her life in the hip hop world, which was controversial for its descriptions of her sexual liaisons with numerous major stars.
When interviewed on popular New York radio station Hot 97, she discussed her book with host Miss Jones before taking a call from G (Kool G Rap) and wife Ma Barker, in which the two callers criticized Steffans' behavior toward a daughter (allegedly fathered by rapper Method Man [who denied the claims] but not mentioned in Confessions) and refuted her claims regarding Wilson's abuse. Karrine Steffans better known as "Superhead" says Banks dissed her horribly when Steffans came on to talk about her memoir, "Confessions of a Video Vixen."
Steffans, who chronicles her many affairs with hip-hop and sports stars in the best seller, says Banks "insisted I wrote 'Confessions' because I was angry and wanted revenge. ... She said, 'These are my colleagues. They're people I know well!' "Despite what she thinks, she and I are not that different," Steffans tells News contributor Jawn Murray. "I have even heard her being referred to as a 'Hollywood Hop,' for the many men in Hollywood who have bedded her and moved on."
Steffans says she was so mad, "all I could think about was snatching her wig off!" Banks' manager, Benny Medina, argues, "Tyra certainly never slept around. You can count her relationships on one hand."
Medina says the clash stemmed from Steffans not wanting to discuss the passages in the book. "She glorifies this lifestyle in the book," he says. "But on the show, I think she is ashamed of it."
Ironically, Banks' former flame, director John Singleton, is said to be interested in developing "Video Vixen" as a movie.

G Rap and Barker vehemently and vigorously deny Steffans account and also charge that the sex kitten has lied on others in the streets and music game.
To verify these alleged falsehoods, Ma Barker, at her spouse’s urging, taped the majority of her conversation with Steffans. What these tapes hold is a mystery and Ma Barker isn’t revealing. Meanwhile, Kool G Rap is mounting a return to rap with the release of a new mixtape, Top 5 Dead Or Alive, but must first contend with what he deems is meant to “f**k up people and people's characters.” By the way, the pair has a few contrite words for Big Tigger and Method Man, who were like innocent bystanders in a gunfight. Karrine “Superhead” Steffans is sticking by her story, but G Rap and Ma Barker are sticking it to her.
Kool G Rap: Basically, what homegirl is about is trying to smear people’s images and f**k up people and people’s characters – their image in the public. This is just for the simple fact that she ain’t get what she wanted out of f**kin’ with a hundred n***as, you know? She wanted somebody to scoop her up, wife her or whatever and that ain’t happen, and this is her payback for the industry.
Ma Barker: It didn't mean nothing as I know what type of chick she is, I knew what it was with G. Me and G been together seven years and we never had no problems, nothing. He is no abusive man and he is a good dude, so for her to try and disgrace his character because he didn't want to f**k with her no more, that was f**ked up to me. Nobody did, just like Bill Maher just dumped the b*tch, who she going to date now, David Letterman? [That shit was classic -- Fresh] She running out of n***as. I am a rapper I write songs, she wrote her creative book out of her own mind. But the beef with me and her is, when I see her she isn't safe because when I see her I am going to hurt her. I don't like the fact that she tried to be cool with me, even though I knew she was up to no good and the way she tried to turn the whole story around. At the end of the day. I feel sorry for that child, if the baby is G's or not, I would love to adopt that kid.
Steffans' Confessions includes a number of chapters describing her relationship with Juice Crew member and hip hop recording artist Kool G Rap. Her descriptions of G's alcohol and cocaine abuse, epileptic seizures, philandering, and tendency toward domestic abuse, both psychological and physical, garnered a minor publicity stir and was a topic of discussion for several of the book's reviewers.
The adult film was put together from an old scene Mr. Marcus shot for his "Cool Spot" DVD. The new film uses the original footage as well as unreleased material from the shoot.
Steffans released her Confessions Of A Video Vixen book late last year and quickly became one of the most talked about books in the industry, helping it reach the New York Times bestseller list.
